DISC personality assessment is a behavioral assessment tool that measures an individual's dominant personality traits. The acronym "DISC" stands for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness, which are the four primary personality traits assessed by the tool.

It's important to note that while DISC assessments can be a useful tool for personal and professional development, they are not a comprehensive measure of an individual's personality and should not be used as the sole basis for decision-making. For our training, we utilize the DISC health assessment tool. By doing so, individuals learn how to understand themselves, improve their interactions with others, and achieve greater satisfaction at home and in the workplace. Most people consider "personality" and "temperament" synonymous terms. When we use these terms, we are referring to the predictable patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. There are many theories about personality types. The D.I.S.C Model is simple to understand, easy to remember, and practical to apply. Knowing our active or passive roles (extroverts or introverts) helps us determine our specific temperament styles. By combining these two different categories of influences, along with our task and people orientations, we end up with four specific types. Each person has a predictable pattern of behavior based on their unique personality. There are four basic personality types. These types, also known as temperaments, blend together to determine your unique personality.
